Ohio's "Touchdown Jesus" Destroyed by Lightning

Monroe, Ohio- The famous six-story "Touchdown Jesus" statue of southwest Ohio burned to the ground Monday evening after being struck by lightning during a thunderstorm. The $250,000 dollar statue, officially titled "King of Kings", was sculpted in 2004. All that remained of the statue, as of Tuesday, was the metal frame which was, before the lightening fire, skinned in fiberglass and foam.
